June 28th, 2007: James Madison Institute continues the battle on the property tax issue. JMI will be having a tax summit in Tampa on June 28. The time will be approximately 11:30 – 1:30 with a strong panel of folks from all over the state and opening remarks from former House Speaker Allan Bense who is chairing the Taxation and Budget Reform Commission. We also have a panelist from Florida Trend and our own JMI experts. It will be a post-session analysis of what was done and what is left to be done.  There will be time for Q/A, etc. It’ll be very informative as we figure the “what next?” of the battle.
